Not an application at the development stage but security testing for an application that is already in the store. Many companies target Android and iOS commercial applications but I could not find any tools that provide static and dynamic analysis for BlackBerry!

Security software to test for security vulnerabilities of BlackBerry apps. For example, testing network vulnerabilities that may make it easy for an outside party to intercept network traffic and inject malicious data on to app and therefore on the device?
Can't happen. The apps are signed and any attempt to modify them will disable the app completely. The apps are also sand boxed into their own space and are managed by security features so they can be locked down and not access shared information. User has control of that. The device is also signed and the OS cannot be modified by malicious code. One of the reasons that the boot process in BB10 devices is so long is that it is checking each and every component of the OS to make sure that it hasn't been tampered.

Android and iOS can be rooted, BB10 have never been rooted that has ever been made public. They also don't have apps that are sandboxed or fine level controls to limit what an app can do. So it is important to do security checking if needed.

If you know of any native Blackberry app that has be compromised or any app that was about to modify the OS, please tell us.

I'm not sure on the question exactly... do you mean security software to lock down your phone - or security analysis tools for general usage and concepts?
