[CrackBerry Question]

I am pretty much new to cell phones--I inherited my dad's old flip phone and used that for awhile. I just bought a Blackberry Bold 9780 and I am concerned about keeping it in good shape. Any suggestions on how to choose a good case, skin, etc. from all those available? How does one not scratch the camera lens? What is the best way to carry a phone to prevent damage? It came with a tight-fitting belt holster...is this a good way to carry it safely?

These probably sound like very elementary questions (and they are)--I just would like to use the phone without damaging it, and don't have any experience doing so. I'm a bit apprehensive about using and carrying it. Thank you kindly for any help.

Not sure if they are still available but the Otterbox commuter series or defender series were great cases.
They were expensive as far as cases go but essentially bulletproof.
May still be able to find them on Ebay or Amazon.
