I got the blue screen today and after trying to restart a dozen times im getting a Code 16 assuming that the blinks are set up by Slow then quick. Got one slow and 6 quick red blinks
The numbers used in error codes mean nothing, really. It's a number spewed out by the OS but one number could mean many different things and many numbers can be used for the same issue.
Don't worry about the error number, just worry about the sequence of blinking lights. That sequence would suggest you need to reload the OS to the phone. Plug your phone into BlackBerry Desktop Software for OS 7 phones and prior or into BlackBerry Link for OS 10 phones. Once your phone has connected, the software should detect that your OS is corrupt and it will prompt you to reload it.
