    BlackBerry Classic
    Unlocked on T-Mobile network
    Software Release: 10.3.3.1463

Even when the device is idle with no apps operating the System use is always high. I have performed a factory reset which has not solved the problem. The battery drains in a matter of 4 hours or less, no matter how much or how little the device is used. What other steps can I take to resolve this? It only seems to have happened once I received the 10.3. update.

What kind of apps do you have installed?

Can you post a picture of your device monitor showing usage?

    What is your usage patterns?

What types of apps are you using? Significant android apps or anything out of the ordinary?

You could attempt to run an autoloader from this thread. Completely wipes and updates the os.

Are you running videos or music in the background with your browser?

I use my device exactly the way I always have, that's what makes this odd and frustrating. I have a few email accounts, I use the browser, TuneIn radio, and that's about it. Nothing should be running in the background. I always close an app when I'm done using it, as well as the browser.

You said you did a Factory Reset... did you start over clean or did you restore all your old apps, data and settings?

I'd start over and reload the OS, and test it with nothing installed,
    1) then slowly add all my Accounts to the HUB... test for a day or so as it will take a little to settle in and sync everything.
    2) add all BBW Apps one at a time and set those ups (if they have an account)..... test.
    3) if you use Cobalt's solution, add it and.... test
    4) add your Google Play Apps one at a time and set each of those ups (if they have an account) .... test.

Yeah what the above poster said I would start slowly by adding each account and things. Something seems to be hanging in the background causing high usage.

Plus, if you do have Android apps, make sure you force close them in Device Monitor. Your CPU usage should never be that high unless you're playing a heavy game or multitasking the hell out of your device.

Wow ... how can the system be at 317%? How can it use up more than 100% of the battery?

I agree with the others. Start fresh and identify the culprit. Do you have a lot of apps running in the background?

That's because he's showing the last 48 hours and a few battery charges.
