Formerly used Sprint Telenav for turn-by-turn. It was discontinued in Nov 2014. Switched to BB Traffic and today received end of Life notification. So what is next for turn-by-turn navigation for a BB Curve 9330?

google maps
god i miss BB Traffic!
But can you get voice navigation? If so - how is it available for download and installation?
I am very upset with this application going away for 7.0. I have been a long time and loyal Blackberry customer. I wanted to give my current phone to my wife -- primarily for the BB Traffic application.....and go with the new Classic for myself.
Seeing how they are leaving BB subscribers high and dry on this.......I am seriously considering bagging the BB and going with 2 new Android phones.
This is the kind of arrogance that drives customers away from BB. I have been a BB user since 2004. I like BB.......or at least used to be>>>> and planed on staying loyal well into the future.
Why should I be loyal to a company that drops BB Traffic without even providing options for users?
This is no way to reward long-time loyalty.
This is likely it for me regarding loyalty to BB!!!!!!!!
snap ,amazon, google play and it does have voice
Thanks rbtg!
Is this as simple as going to Google Play (from the BB Curve 9360) and downloading it? I obviously need something that can run on the BB 7.0 operating system.
Thanks again! I am looking forward to clarifying this issue!
Thanks for the info rbtg!
Could this be a simple as going to Google Play (from the BB Curve) and downloading the application?
My concern is that it runs in the BB 7.0 operating system environment. Voice is critical since the BB Curve screen is far too small to consider attempting to view the screen while driving. Voice solves this issue.
Again, thanks for the info!
I don't know too much about your BlackBerry but snap you can sideload it, amazon you can download it from the web then install it and google play you need to visit cobalt's page

Sorry for all the questions - but I can't find snap of Amazon turn by turn applications. I also need to plead ignorance regarding the cobalt reference.
snap you find it searching forum
amazon it's a second choice
Stop! The old BBOS phones can't run Android.

This is what I find very frustrating about how BB handles the end of life for BB Traffic. The current phone works great for my purposes.....mostly business use. BB does not even suggest a replacement service......they assume that they can dictate to the market and force current users onto 10 platform phones. I was going to get a 10 and give my wife the BB Curve 9360 for the BB traffic application.
Staying with BB looks like it may not happen. I don't appreciate being bullied by a vendor.
Any other suggestions to a turn by turn that will run on 7.0 would be much appreciated.
OP, there used to be an app I used called BlackBerry Navigator. It was in the beta zone at the time, and I'm not sure it ever got released officially. If I remember, it was quite decent.

I think you are overreacting a bit. The 9360 was from 2011. Since then, as you well know, BlackBerry had to change its OS completely to survive and it's still trying to hang on. So few are left using the old service, that I think BlackBerry really needs to divert its limited resources forward now.
I feel your pain, but I think BlackBerry has been reasonable given the circumstances. I think almost 4 years of support, on a defunct platform, is pretty good.
If you want a cheap phone for your wife, you can get a Z30 for $0 on contract, or get a used Z10 on kijiji for around $50. Grab a new $25 4500mah battery for it and you're off to the races.
