I save gifs on my device and when I want to use them, they shows as still pictures. On the otherhand, it is only saved gifs from BBM channels that animate.

I'm not 100% sure I understand the question. You are trying to save animated gif files (that is picture files that move) from a BBM group, to use later? But they are saving as regular gif files, non animated?
