    hi,
Planning to go Fastech (I just invented this word) from 28/12 to 3/1. This is a fast on technology and turn off my digital/virtual life to be with family in totality without ANY DISTRACTIONS a.k.a. Laptop/BB off

However, will be driving and exercising during these days, so

How can I keep my phone on but not receive any emails/bbm/fb message

I would have to use waze while driving and if I go exercise, i would like to log it. (I know these will work on GPS and I could be in Airplane Mode but Maps wont update traffic info without it.

You can turn off BBM and FB in parental controls. I'd say delete your e-mail accounts from settings, which you'll have to setup again afterwards.

Thanks guys, sounds reasonable. I also thought about it, maybe I will take a full backup and wipe, is that too drastic?

I know on the 3Rd I need to restore.

Always good to wipe and start fresh! I assume you want to keep receiving phone calls?
