One of my friends can't read much English so needs a reliable voice to text and vice versa. I know one was featured on crackberry a while ago but I can't find it now.

I'm SOOOO new to anything smartphone (this Q10 is my FIRST smartphone EVER), buttt can't that be done thru BBM?! Use the attach a voice note option?! If I'm wrong A. im sorry and B. I'm sure someone can correct and redirect

To go from voice to text, I believe pressing the Mute button (the button between the Up and Down volume on the phone) will do this (however I'm running BlackBerry Assistant so I can't test if this is true or not.....my memory might not be serving me).
As for reading a text or email back to you, DriveSafely is a popular app and it's free.

On the virtual keyboard of the z10 just hold down the period (for the English keyboard at least)
