When showing a video from Browser (say youtube), the video continues running in an active frame. So I can check calendar, other Apps like CB... while a song/report is still being played.

This does not work if the video is played with the video player of the phone... once reduced to the frame, it pauses.

How can I modify this?

You can't. But you can navigate to your music or videos with your browser and then play them in the background.
