Viber doesn't work well on Q10. Part of the app gets cut off the screen. However, if you're running 10.3.1.1154, you can install via Snap and use the screen scaling option to correct the issue. Post more if you need further help with it.

Yeah. That is the latest official OS. I'd recommend to stay with it because it's very stable.

But in any case you don't mind an unstable OS, you could try the latest leaked OS 10.3.1.1154 and get the Viber app. But I won't advice to do this.

People throw around the word "stable" a lot. 10.3.1.1154 not only works great on my device, but it has actually become an official release. It is the launch OS of the BlackBerry Classic.

People use the word to indicate that an OS has come far enough in its development to be considered mostly bug-free. Nothing will ever be perfect, however. "Stable", "rock-solid", "works perfectly", "awesome" are all just words to describe an OS that works well enough for someone's individual needs. One person's "stable" OS can be a disaster for someone else depending on his/her use case.

If you're not tech-savy, I would recommend staying with official releases. A lot of things can go wrong unless you know what you're doing. That said, if you're adventurous or interested, you should read the threads about updating with leaks. It's fun, and can give you the functionality that you might want.

It's the launch OS of classic. Yes, it could be perfectly stable on the classic. But if you want, I could throw a list of bugs at you from 1154?

    1. Device monitor breaking itself every once in a while.
    2. Notification volume being terribly low on the Q10.

These are the two on the top of my head. Be sensible and do NOT recommend leaked OS to a newbie. They would come around with more complaints than you can imagine. The word stable makes much sense if you really gave it a thought.

I'll try harder in the future to "give it a thought", and "be sensible". Thanks for the advice.

Technically, none of your reported bugs have anything to do with OS "stability", btw.

I agree that there are a number of reported bugs on 1154 - none of which may affect a given user. For others it could be a game changer. It's like that with early official releases too.

My Q10 uses latest leaked OS 10.3.1.1154. You have to upgrade in order for Viber to work flawlessly.
