I have had my Z10 since day one and have love it! Though since the release of the Passport I find myself wanting the larger screen for a better texting/email experience, as sometimes I find my Z10 screen to small for larger text message / email response. I was wondering has anyone gone from the Z10 to Passport and noticed an improved texting/email experience?

Definitely the screen and hard keys make it a good experience while emailing and texting. Overall an experience you will love but few things I am still getting used to

    1. Holding the device . One handed use is not so good experience
    2. Swipe typing is much better on Z10 with suggestions just above the keys

Email will be of an improved experience because of the wider screen, and typing depends on how comfortable you are with physical keyboard. Personally, I find I'm faster on the BlackBerry's software keyboard.

The Z10's form factor is my favorite aspect of it, as it's an easy one-handed device that's good for on-the-go. Passport will take a hit on portability as it is a wide, two-handed device.

If you ask me, I feel Passport's other features outweigh the compromises and I've been happier with the Passport than with Z10. One thing is for sure, you'll love the bigger screen and excellent battery life.

I made the transition from Z10 to the Passport and can confirm that it's a far superior experience on the passport. More info visible in email headers, better reading experience, longer battery life, better typing experience, natural sound over BBM is awesome. The passport does require two hands to be effective though. Got used to working wide quite quick and I picked up my Z10 the other day and it seemed really narrow and weird.
