Hey guys! I am facing a problem in Blackberry world. Even after updating the apps, it again shows the same update availability notifications. I tried everything: Hard reset, restart, battery removal.. But still it shows update available. Do you guys face the same error sometimes? Is there any solution to this..

Have you tried deleting the apps from your phone and then re-install.

I used to have that issue too but ever since I updated to the 10.3 leaks, I never had it again.

Hmm.. I prefer waiting for the official launch of 10.3. But are you sure that by upgrading to 10.3 solves the problem.

I can say that I'm sure but that was my own case.
You can wait for official 10.3.1 which should be very soon.
But for now, you could just ignore the repeated updates.

Hey I found this article relating to BlackBerry security being comprised. Is that the reason such error is happening in my mobile it says as under: (Found it on BlackBerry site)

BSRT-2014-008 Vulnerability in BlackBerry World service affects BlackBerry 10 smartphones


This advisory addresses a spoofing vulnerability that is not currently being exploited but affects BlackBerry 10 smartphone customers running the BlackBerry World app. BlackBerry; customer risk is limited both by the requirement that customers must first connect to an attacker-controlled network and by the inability of a potential attacker to force exploitation of the vulnerability without customer interaction. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to intercept a user?s application download/update request from BlackBerry World over a compromised network and replace the response from the server with a malicious file and requires that a user accept the permissions and install the malicious app. If the requirements are met for exploitation, an attacker could potentially gain access to any data or settings allowed by the app permissions that the user granted. After installing the recommended software update, affected customers will be fully protected from this vulnerability.

I have checked blackberry world. All the updates have been installed.
