have followed the instructions to a T.....

but when opening the Googly Play app, i just get "error retrieving information from server. [RH-01]"

Did you login with Account Manager, and register with Google ID?

Follow these instructions from Cobalt:
1) Close Play Store
2) Go to Blackberry Settings -> App Manager -> Device Monitor -> Storage -> Play Store and hit "Clear Data"
3) Run Blackberry Google ID and unregister the the device
4) In Blackberry Google ID tap on your email address -> select your account -> remove the account in top right menu.
5) Back on main screen of Blackberry Google ID hit checkin and follow the instructions

After you have registered your account again in Blackberry Google ID, make sure you press register this device button on the bottom.
It will show you a message that the registration is successful and you can use Play Store now.
