    I will be traveling in Europe next month with stops in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, and France. We first land in Italy but the majority of our time will be spent in Germany. What provider would be the best to get a pay as you go sim for my unlocked Q10?

    i use Vodafone in UK and Germany my self, i have Q 5 so your Q10 should be same, just buy a new pay as you go sim in each country to avoid roaming charges.

    Would I be able to just buy the Vadophone pay as u go sim and use that for the whole trip? It's just for emergencies...

    Maybe you should consider a data only SIM with cheap roaming charges and a SIP provider (I recommend Odorik.cz) and a SIP client of your choice. I recommend Bria

    ask in Italy (Vodafone italia) what their roaming charges are for the countries you are going to visit,
    or as you are in Germany for most of your visit ask Vodafone there,
