    Very hard of hearing and need to increase speaker and ear phone volume above the maximum presently on the cell. I also have a 9650 Bold that needs the increase also.

    There's an option available to boost volume for media:

    On the Home screen, click the Media icon.
    Press the Menu key > Media Options.
    Select the Audio Boost checkbox.
    Read the warning on the screen and if you want to proceed, click Yes.
    Press the Menu key > Save.

    But as far as I can see, there's no option for the speaker volume during a call. I don't believe there's an easy way to boost the volume beyond the pre-set maximums on the existing hardware. If you have hearing difficulties, it may be a better overall solution to look at hearing aid options (if you don't already have one) that would work not just on your phone, but during normal day to day activities as well.
