With my Curve 9360, I could the timer for my phone to turn-off at a set time each night then power-up at a specific time the next morning. Can I do this on the Z10?

No, but you can manually put it into sleep mode by dragging down the top menu, and choosing "bedside mode".

I think every time I put it on the charger, it pops up as an option on the screen ... making it even easier to implement.

I forgot to mention that the device is never completely turned off in sleep mode, depending upon what options you set for it.

You need to turn the device back on in the morning, but if you set an alarm - even in sleep mode, the alarm will sound.

Sleep mode? Like turning of the phone via power key? Because that's pretty overpowered
