Hi,i'm currently using my Z10 for about 4 month now.Somehow the battery life is a bit dissapointing to me,for example(8am 100%>8pm20%).So here's my question.

    1. Is it worth it to trade my Z10 to Q10 just because it has a bigger battery capacity? Also,i kinda like tje Q10 hardware design

    2. How different is the battery life of this two phone?i mean,is the bigger battery capacity of Q10 make it last longer than the Z10?

    3. I mainly using my Z10 for browsing(3-4 hours) and whatsapp for about 20 + messages.

    4. Is all Z10 apps compatible with Q10?

    5. Also, how sturdy is the Q10 keypad build?can it get broken easily?

    6. How is your experince browsing website using the Q10?is the smaller screen make it difficult?

All right, that's all question I got.Sorry for the too many question.Forgive my weird english, since it's not my main language..LoL

    Thank's alot...

    Hello and welcome to CB

You rather should think of it this way:

    - Do I prefer physical keyboard or virtual one?
    - Do I prefer bigger or smaller screen?

Q10's battery indeed is better than Z10 at the same usage.

Some apps won't be compatible but I don't think they are much.

You could make the switch as a kind of renewal. Q10 is amazing device

Worst mistake you'll ever make OP. Stick with the leader of the BB10 pack. Z10 to the max!

I think the keyboard it's self is sturdy. Mine hasn't had any problems at all. I don't use a case or any protection on my keyboard blackberrys because I feel they are just that much more sold that touch screen phones.

On another note I beleive the battery life is much better.

The apps definetly look better on Z10 and more are available for it but I don't think enough for you to see a difference. You should check which apps you use most and see if they are available for the Q10.

The screen to me is not too small, smaller than Z10 but not too small we've all had smaller(BB7). And I came from a Z30 to get used to the keyboard for the passport and I'm very used to it now.

I used q10 before. The keyboard is perfect. But after awhile I changed to Z10 just for the kicks. I'd never look back. I still miss the keyboard. That tactile feedback. No typo. On Z10 I made a lot of typo. Guess im one of the guy that not used to type on glass. But if you type a lot and need a longer batt life. Q10 is a better device. And the battery is somewhat good.

If you want to trade your Z10 (which I understand as I did), get a Z30. It is awesome and has a proper battery life.

I love my Q10, especially for the keyboard. I've never had the oversensitive, double-typing issue. The screen size doesn't bother me, since I don't watch a lot of video on it. Web surfing is fine. Some websites aren't designed well to display on small screens, but the Z10 would have the same issue with those. I use Reader mode in the browser when a site doesn't display correctly, and it's great.

Ultimately, the biggest difference between the Z10 and the Q10 is the physical keyboard. I bought the phone for that, so screen size was secondary for me. If you want a physical keyboard, the Q10 has the best available right now. If you want a physical keyboard PLUS a large screen, wait for the Passport to be released - then you'll have the best of both worlds.

Here are some pros and cons for the devices

Z10: Pros- Big screen, able to play games without any trouble, some exclusive apps that don't work on 3" 1 screens

Z10: Cons- battery life sucks, SOME glitches

Q10: Pros- a QWERTY keyboard makes you look sophisticated, more business type look, better battery

Q10: Cons: Small screen, misinterperated key clicks after a year of usage, many games don't fit in screen, gets really buggy after excessive usage and many times it's scroll down every other minute
