Is there any other way to connect the BB mini stereo blue tooth speaker if the play/pause key is bro

Hello everyone, hope you all had a nice Christmas.
I have a z10 and use a BlackBerry mini bluetooth speaker with it. Unfortunately the speaker's middle button broke last week, but it wasn't a problem as it was already paired with my phone. But I restored my phone yesterday and now I can't pair it with the speaker as it is in an invisible mode and one has to hold the play/pause button on it to pair it with a device for the first time. So is this it? Is there any other way I can pair it? Or get it repaired? Or should I loose all hope of playing any music out of it via bluetooth ?

Were you able to connect with the BT speaker or did you have to get a new one? I know when you upgrade your OS, you will have to pair again....
