[CrackBerry Question]

I am Director in an apartment complex and some of the residents here are cloning key fobs. It is quite widespread. There are people parking in the complex regularly who we do not know and who do not live here. A car has been stolen and several others damaged. It is quite a serious security issue for us. We have re coded the system several times but this has been over ridden. What system or strategy do you suggest would secure our carpark electric gate most securely and would not be able to be cloned?

Do you have security cameras? We have a good system that covers pretty much all the garage and it's very deterrent.

Otherwise it's all about convenience vs security.

We use "Stanley" clickers, so anyone that has the code can just buy a 100$ clicker and open our garage doors.

Otherwise I'm pretty sure that there are chips that are not easily to duplicate. For instance look at HID (owned by Assa Abloy). They make highly secured access cards or chips used in most office buildings.
