Syncing appointments made on Q10 with Outlook

So I followed all the instructions on here and got my outlook to sync to my blackberry Q10. If I make an appointment in Outlook, it pops up instantly on my blackberry. However, the reverse is not true. If I make an appointment on the blackberry, it doesn't show up in outlook.
I already set the default calendar to BBLink.

Any other suggestions?

1. make sure the sync option is set to a short time or push.
2. By default when you are creating an appointment on phone the phone will use the local calendar. Make sure to select your 'Outlook calendar' and if this works you can than change the default calendar in the setting menu for new appointments.
