I currently using a Q10 on 10.3... trading it in for a passport...I have a drawer full of blackberry phones..9900 that works perfectly, 8900, 9000.

I would like to use an old phone for nights that I am out on the town or roughing it up in the trails to avoid damaging the passport.

How easy is it to transfer between the Passport and the 9900?

I would like to still access all emails, BBM etc and phone calls...
is there an issue due to the 2 different OS 7 vs BB10?

    options?

I think they have different size sim cards, but i could be wrong, also some of the older BB you needed a BB pkg from your provider, but not totally sure .
Maybe someone that knows for sure will come and let you know.

I think it will be difficult because of the data plan and the way that your carrier provisions your phone. Going between two BB10 phones is much easier.
