Storage went up in a strange way on Z30 after downloading apps from Amazon.
I used the Amazon app Store today and tried three apps from the giveaway: Devil's Attorney, Zombie Gunship Zero and Zombie Gunship.
Unfortunately, neither worked past the intro/loading page, so I uninstalled them. What was quite funny and odd is that during the whole process my phone's storage space went from 10.0 GB to 10.6 GB.
During the installation process at least twice I had to "re-download" the apps, as it seems when I looked around in the store they stopped downloading. Nevertheless on my home screen the icons had appeared.
I have uninstalled the three apps completely, hard rebooted about 4 times, installed and uninstalled the Amazon app store three times, and looked for any partial apk and cache with Ghost Commander, AVG Cleaner, and Clean Master (the first from BlackBerry World and the last two from Snap-Google Play Store).
I can't find anything taking up the 600 MB and nothing new is shown in Device Monitor. My phone is exactly the same as this morning, just before going through the whole process, but with less storage.
Any thoughts or ideas to help out? Could it be some sort of MetaData hidden somewhere?
Thanks in advance for any input/suggestions.
I'm running 10.2.1.2977 on my Z30 (STA100-5).
Loved the Q10 but now it's Z30 power time!!!
