    I have had a Q10 for just over a year now with no complaints at all. However within the last month the speaker seems to have broken. Using BlackBerry Virtual Expert I have completed the audio tests. The first question being "can you hear the sample music" which I couldn't. Therefore I fail the test at which point it replays the sample music, which comes through as clear as day. I have triple checked my setting to make sure they are correct but still can't get a sound out of the phone at all. Any suggestion much appreciated.

    Which OS are you using and when did you notice this issue? Could it be an app that you I stalled that is creating havoc here? If it failed the hardware test you may need to replace the speaker tho. I imagine there are videos online for you to follow.

    OS is listed as 10 on the phone with the latest software all up to date. I don't think the problem coincided with any new app download. I think I will have to back up all my personal info and reset the phone to factory setting as a last resort. Many thanks for the response
