    Since you don't mention which device you have i will go with this: after an update, its a good idea to reboot your phone at least 3-4 times. I find that things need to settle down first. When did you update? have you rebooted? which OS? maybe there is a better OS to load. Have you read anything about the OS in the threads? there is a separate thread for each OS. go there and check please.

    For at least the first 24 hours, you device is syncing all your accounts, downloading profile pictures and various other things. It takes a little time for the device to settle down. Battery life will improve. It's normal to have a Lower battery performance right after an update, especially if it's a factory reset.
