Is there a shortcut for recording a voice note on q10 from main menu?

I have the PhoneTap app and it will do it with a long press of the up volume key.

Long press the button between the volume up and down keys that will bring up the voice control. Then say add a note. It will add a note to the remember app.

"Add a note" command not recognized on my z30...running 10.2.1.

Any other way to record an audio message? I've tried BBM attach a note, and it records, but unless my intended contact is on data or wifi to recieve it, it gets left unsent after trying for awhile.

I am attempting to send a recorded audio off home land phone voice msg to my contact travelling and temporarily off grid. Enail attachments is perfect, but how to get the audio on to my BlackBerry?

Record the voice note first. It should be in the voice folder when complete.

Start an e-mail and attach file. Search for the voice note and attach.

That was the problem...starting the recording didn't work as the tutorial instructions stated....Say "Add a Note".... I got "Command not recognized ".

Do it directly from the remember app then. Open it up and hit the microphone.

After your recording is done. Either save or cancel the remember task. Doesn't matter.

Then go to file manager and look under voice the file should be there.
