I know this is in another thread but didn't find a solution. I'm using the priv tmobile I have a scandisk ultra 64gb micro SD xc 1 have been using it from lollipop and on marshmallow update but today after trying to do some screen shots I got the "couldn't capture screenshot due to limited storage space or it isn't allowed by the app or your organization" since I could not find a fix I decided to back up the files and try to format the sd card. The phone couldn't do it so I plugged it into a pc but it failed half way through and I've tried the sd formatter tool as well. Has anyone found a solution? Also when I try to format to internal storage I get a command error and if I do portable storage it gets stuck at 20% and fail.

sounds like the card needs to be replaced. Would you trust your pictures and data to a card you can't format? i wouldn't
