    you are about to replace your device data with a backup file that might not be up to date ? what to do now :/ i want to restore my old data

    When was it backed up? Just before the OS update, or 3 months ago. Should be pretty self explanatory as if it will over write newer data or not, just remember when it was backed up.

    Ok, and have you updated ANY local data after 08-19-2014 that would not be stored in the cloud? Contacts(local), calendar(local) entries, changes to any application data or settings like Hub++?

    If the answer is no then none of your data should be lost after being over written.

    Emails are not important at all as they will still be in the actual email account, the only thing that might get lost would SMS and or MMS. Mind you those are of even less concern than email in my opinion.

    What error, the message stating that you might over write data? Of course that is going to be displayed, it is a default message that is displayed on each restore so BB can be released from people restoring and losing data.
