Do you mean you are getting an exclamation point instead of a lightning bolt while charging? Are you plugging into your computer to charge?

See if a different charger and cable combination work. Plug into computer to see if it will charge. If nothing works the charging port might be damaged or the battery itself is failing. You can check battery health using BBVE app. More often it is the charger itself that has failed. Good luck.

Are you using the charger that came with the device?
If so test using another BlackBerry charger.
This is the sign of a weak charger for the phone.

I've seen this but only a couple of times when my phone fell off the bed while it was charging. The yank I guess caused it but I unplugged and plugged it back in everything worked fine after that

So just use any USB charger with a charge rate (output) of at least 750mAh. If you have other brand chargers lying around just use those. The original may have failed and gave you the red exclamation mark because it cannot charge properly anymore.

You need a 1000 Mah charger or above. Any one will do.

Yeah I have original BlackBerry charger.
But I noticed a thing while charging with HTC charger, it charges mobile faster but become excessive hot than normal warm. And same thing was happened with BlackBerry charger. Both chargers has 850ah output. What I do?

It shouldn't get too hot while charging. Maybe exchange it for a different unit if you can?
