Hi Last night i took some photos of my SO who is leaving for work for many months,. later that night i discovered that the photo was missing, I must have deleted it by accident. I save all my photos to the micro sd card memory.

I have tried downloading a couple of recovery programs for photos (not paid for any so far) but the Z and E drives do not show after connecting z30 via USB.

Any ideas guys? Its just one photo, but it means a lot!

Do you happen to have your device set to automatically upload photos to say DropBox or Box?

I have had a lot of success with a program called Zero Assumption Recovery, it recovers things that I didn't even remember ever having on the card lol, but you have to turn on mass storage setting and then connect to a computer, or take the card out and put it in to an adapter and then use a card reader.

If you back up to cloud it will be much easier to recover the files.
