The reception on my new Classic is lower than by old Bold. It's also unstable -- goes up and down.

Anybody else see this? Is this just the performance of the Classic, or do I have a faulty unit?

It's probably more accurate then the bold. Are you still able to make and receive calls? Then who cares? Lol just enjoy the upgrade. Also I'm guessing it's your LTE signal being sketchy?

Mines fine. Like the post above me, it's probably just telling you more accurate.

As long as you can make calls and stuff it shouldn't matter.

I disagree. Had the 9900, now I have the Classic, much better than the Bold in all aspects.

Are you out in the sticks, Coach? Kinda sorta? Try this, see if it works: Settings>Network and Connections>Mobile Network and then change Network Mode to 4G & 3G & 2G--or something that doesn't list LTE as an option. This should force your phone on the same networks as your 9900.

If even this doesn't work, I'd go in for a replacement ASAP.
