Q5 SQR100-2 in USA?
Hi, I'm using Q5 and my model is SQR100-2 which works in my country.
By the way I have to visit USA (the east coast like New York, etc.) for 2 weeks and I'm thinking of using it there with sim card there, not roaming.
As I know the frequency of 100-2 isn't the right one for America.
Does it mean... none of any sim card works with it? No AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon, Sprint... None of them? Is there any other way to use it in America, except changing the cell phone or buying a prepaid phone?

Doesn't mean anything. Worst case, you might not get LTE but you'll get 3G. Verizon and Sprint are out though, stick with GSM carriers such as AT&T/T-Mobile and any of their MVNO's.

An option would also be to use T-Mobile's plan for visitors mentioned here http://crackberry.com/t-mobile-offer...-and-data-plan
That should be fine to hold you over even if you don't get LTE on that phone model with them.

You are not going to get LTE whatsoever. At best, HSPA+ or 3G.
The SQR100-2 is more compatible with AT&T's nationwide network than it is with TMO's--you'll get 3G/HSPA+ pretty much everywhere in the US on AT&T, but not on TMO. But TMO's probably going to be cheaper and depending on which places you plan to visit, you may actually get TMO 3G/HSPA+ everywhere.
A middle ground solution might be AT&T MVNOs, or even Cricket Wireless (though they cap 3G/HSPA+ at a measly 4mbps.)
