Hi guys, anyone know why my 2yr old Q5 would delete contacts out of my phone every other week randomly?

Depends on where the contacts come from. If there is difficulty in logging in to a Hotmail, Google or other linked account, those contacts could drop out. They would return whenever whatever bug or security change was affecting those sites was resolved. Other than that, I have no idea why contacts would disappear.
