    I want to buy a new q10 but it's a qwertz keyboard, if I put in definitions Portuguese language will it change to qwerty? Or is it possible to change in software to qwerty even if physical keyboard is qwertz?

    Welcome to CrackBerry. It is not possible to change the software mapping of the keys. Changing the language will not affect it either.
    It would be not be a good idea for you to buy a quertz phone.

    Yes it is possible. Look at my screenshot.

    Go to Settings.
    Language and Input
    Input Languages
    press the Globe icon at bottom of screen
    choose Portugu�s
    It will appear in your selected languages
    Press on Portugu�s
    You can then choose your default keyboard..be it QWERTZ or otherwise.

    This is only possible with phones with physical keyboard right?

    This is primarily for VKB. Obviously one can't easily modify a PKB but the ability to change from QWERTY to QWERTZ to AZERTY it's integrated into all BB10 devices. I utilize it on my Z30 and PP.
