I have software 10.2.1 for my Q10.
Noted of the last week my phone is not ringing on incoming call.
It vibrates
Sound works.
Settings seem correct.
Just will not ring on incoming.
Tried pulling the battery.
Any ideas???

First you should not pull the battery on these new devices, do a hard reset.
second turn phone on to vibration and do a hard reset then go back and turn it on.
Hard reset by holding the volume up and down buttons until you see the blue loading circle
Okay now you are the 2nd person to tell me not to pull the battery. What is that, like holding the power button on my PC till it powers off?
Suppose I want to install a spare battery, how do I do that safely?
Thanks for showing me how to reset my phone.
However I do not understand your instructions, Could you please restate them. Maybe some numbered steps.
You said " turn phone on to vibration " What does that mean? You want me to toggle the vibration setting?
Yes toggle your phone to vibrate.
hold volume up and down buttons in until you see the blue loading circle.
Then toggle your phone back to normal.
when you exchange your battery turn device off by power button then pull the battery
Thanks Slff that did get it working again!
However when the phone powered up again, it always reverted to sound ON, it did not maintain the vibrate setting.
What is the difference between holding the power key and shutting down and powering up VS holding Volume up and Down? They both seem to give the little booting circle.
Blessings,

The power button is a soft reset and the volume buttons are a hard reset.
