I am currently unable to get my Q10 to the same OS level as my Classic thru BlackBerry Link. The Classic is at 10.3.3.4163 and the Q10 is at 10.3.2.556. I assume that is the reason I can't restore the Q10 with a current backup of the Classic? Am I just late to the party....is this a known thing or is it just me?

Couple of things:
1) You can't use the backup from one phone to restore on another phone model.

2) Once you upgrade to 10.3.3, you can't downgrade again back to 10.3.2 on any BB10 phone. Even from the same phone's backup.

If you really want to put 10.3.3 on your Q10 then either do it through BB Link, or use an autoloader. But just be aware that you won't be able to go back.

I'm still using 10.3.2 on my Q10 but a more recent version than yours has. You might want to simply bring 10.3.2 more current, before jumping to 10.3.3. Up to you, of course.

Link tells me I am at the most current. Not sure why. I think I've restored before, but may be remembering wrong.

If your carrier doesn't send updates through your phone directly, back up your phone and try an autoloader then.

Or use Sachesi to search for the version you want - that has usually been my way of updating. I'll find you a link.

Also, many people update with Darcy's Tools. I haven't used it myself, but it's also well respected and can be found by searching here in the forums as well.

Correct, you cannot restore two phones from the same backup.
