    My BlackBerry Passport's Proximity sensor isn't working, can someone tell me if this has something to do with software or hardware..I take real good care of my phone and I am really not sure why and when exactly it stopped working...and how do I fix it?

    Run a diagnostic on BBVE. It's a preinstalled app I believe.
    Also reboot the phone.

    Hey thanks BBVE didn't help but when I pulled off the tempered glass screen guard it started working again...

    Now just out of curiosity, was your tempered glass screen protector actually covering the proximity sensor window to begin with? Or was there a cut out? I'm curious because I want to know if somehow a screen protector, even with a cutout for the proximity sensor window, could still causes issues. Thanks!
