Not sure if anyone is experiencing this, but when I try to connect using Miracast, the connection is staticy, like what happens when thunderstorms hit the TV antenna, except this doesn't let up and continues the only way to make it stop is when I disable the wifi so the passport is connecting to my Sony TV via 4G network instead. Any ideas BlackBerry users?

I believe BB uses WiFi when available, then the Mobile Network when WiFi is not. Sounds like your WiFi is the issue.
1.Check your WiFi channels, move to an uncrowded one
    f. Try 5ghz instead of 2.4ghz on the wireless router
    5. If you can, try using the miracast at a neighbors/friends house to help isolate if it's the handheld, or your WiFi

Miracast is strictly a WiFi feature. As Carl says, you may have another device in the house (microwave, cordless phone, baby monitor) that may be running interference. Also, bad wiring may be interfering, or a neighbor's device.

Try testing it on other TVs.
