I done an update for BBM and now cannot use it. Every time I open the app I always get an error. Can someone please assist

Try restarting the phone, it happens sometimes.

I have restarted it so many times
Just as I got another couple of people on BBM this happened. They have advised me that they will not use the app now. I have tried to contact the developer but cannot get through... what's the point!!!!

My family all have BBZ10 around 4 of them.

The day we all got updated to 10.3.1.1779, non of our BBM Voice/Video call is working. BBM version is 10.8.5.15

Initially the call button used to be greyed out and when we click on it got a message "bbm is trying to connect to server, please wait or try again later". Now that button has totally disappeared.

Tried the following and nothing worked

1) Phone restart
2) Phone Shutdown and switch on
3) Reinstalled the OS
4) Clean wipe and reinstall
5) Back to factory settings and updated the phone
6) Tried using latest auto loader
7) Tried different carriers and different WiFi

All of the above has failed. Need help soon else I know my entire family will transition of to iOS devices as BBM calls is a large part of their lives.

Update your BBM to 10.8.5.16
I just got the notification in BBW

Your right no one and blackberry is not interested in assisting!!!!!! I guess it's over with BBM for me, just as I got people to start using it!!!

Not sure is this is the same issue, but my wife's Z30 just lost BBM app. It just disappeared and won't install from bbw. One error message said IT policy did not allow this app. This is a brand new unlocked phone bought at staples on the Telus network. The only recent new app was ugo wallet. Yes the device has an Nfc sim card.
