I am looking for a decent smartphone at a good price and I saw a good deal on Privs.
Are they worth buying or are they too long in the tooth, technology wise?

They're fine, but if you don't absolutely need a physical keyboard, it doesn't make sense to lug that extra weight around. Get a DTEK50 instead.

The DTEK50 fits below the Priv, and the DTEK60 fits above the Priv from a spec standpoint. But all provide decent performance.

If you need a keyboard, they are a better buy today than they were last year....

If you don't need a keyboard, then there are better options out there.
