As a reluctant Priv user, I would say yes. A factory unlocked Priv at $425 USD is a good deal.
I purchased the eBay $399 AT&T unlocked. It is a decent device, especially with the Marshmallow update. The only drawback for me is the AT&T bloat ware. I certainly would have paid $26 more for the BlackBerry unlocked version.

BlackBerry is releasing new devices soon, including a rumored device more powerful than the DTEK. However, the Priv is a good phone. It has its software issues at time but it remains a solid choice. If you're hoping to get two years out of it I might wait for a newer device.
