I need your help on this. I got a power bank for my BlackBerry Q10 but it wouldn't charge it well, it charges the phone for 3 seconds, goes off and charge again. This has result to the phone getting so hot and slow to charge. I feel this might damage the battery. The power bank works perfectly for my iphone and android phone but wouldn't work well for my q10. I really don't know if to get a more compatible power bank or rather get an extra battery. Your suggestions would be really appreciated.

maybe its your phone or battery and not the power bank get a new battery they are cheap now for the q10

Well, my take on this is power banks are not really good for batteries (imo) I would prefer an extra battery. Also, you've stated that your power bank works splendidly with your iphone and android that means, your q10's battery may be faulty, getting a replacement power bank might not be such a great idea. I'll advice you getting an extra battery since you have a power bank to test on the new battery in order to detect if it was the previous battery that was faulty initially.

@ sir mictol. Thanks for the comment. The Q10 is new, the power is new as well. I just don't know where the problem is coming from. I've tried multiple usb cords with it but still the same.
