I have an old laptop with a borked NIC, and I want to tether it via USB to my Q5, where the Q5 is on my home wifi, not mobile. I can't see why not, but the tether config on the Q5 insists that I switch on mobile first. Can it be done? TIA!

The network adapter is only capable of doing one of those functions at a time. It's not possible.
