Go into BlackBerry World under My World>My Apps and Games>Installed and long press on each item. You'll get an option to either uninstall them from the device, or to permanently delete them. I did the same with Facebook and Foursquare.

Delete the apps from the device and also go into Settings, Parental Controls and you can turn them off from there as well.

You can just delete them like you would delete any other app, really.

It should eventually get off your Hub too and never show up in your device until you decide to reinstall it.

When you long press an icon on the main screen and then hit the X does that delete or uninstall the app?

    Crazigee,
That will remove the App icon from your screen. You can take it one step further by going into BlackBerry World, hit my Apps, there will be 3 headings, go into the Available heading, long press the App that you deleted and this will permanently remove that App (and it's memory storage) from your phone.
