My playbook went through the Oklahoma May 20 tornado. It worked ok after, took a charge, connected to the net, etc. Now it will not charge at all. It died a slow death. Got to were I had to turn it off and charge it with the rapid charger, the USB port died several years ago. Is there a way to change the battery?

You can try using what is called stack charging. However, it sounds like there might be some damage from the storm.

[INFO]1-Plug the PlayBook charger into a surge protector with surge protector off.
    2- Connect the PlayBook.
3- Turn on power using the surge protector on/off switch for two minutes, then off for one minute.
4- Continue this as necessary until PlayBook begins to take a normal charge. You can tell if the PlayBook is normally charging by a continuous flashing led light, (normally yellow to green)[/INFO].

If you don't have surge protector is available, you will have to remove the charger from the outlet for the stacking process.
