When your phone is near to your ear, the screen will turn to black.. so keep your phone far from your hear and turn on the speaker, take note or whatever you want to do.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's not a solution nor a work-around. This requires a totally new approach to make calls. Not applicable in my work environment.

Get a headset if you still need access to the screen.

Come on, playing a video doesn't lock the screen -- the user is present and watching. So should be when calling - the user is present and calling.
