Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I'm preparing my Blackberry Q10 to post for sale.

I loaned it to a friend who didn't have a phone and she registered it under her name. She gave it back to me but can't remember her password OR the clue for her password! GRRR!

I need to wipe the phone and I'm going to be selling it VERY INEXPENSIVELY as I'm in a huge financial pinch (I'll sell it here on Crackberry as seems most people don't understand, for some strange reason, how to work with Blackberry products but those HERE, naturally WOULD).

Yes, I'm stupefied on how she cannot remember the basic security question on "dog's name". I can't wipe the phone to sell without it.

She has the security option turned on, which I need the password for in order to turn off and clean the phone for sale.

The phone is fully USABLE otherwise BUT I tend to think anyone that would like to purchase it, even at the steal of a price would like to register it to themselves.

I TOLD her to unregister the phone before returning it to me but she obviously didn't know how to. It's STILL registered to her though and she can't remember the password.

    PLEASE ASSIST ME!

    Thank you!

As long as she has access to the original email associated with her BBid she can try this.

    https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/...coverpassword/

Once retrieved she needs to login to BBID and BBprotect to remove the phone from device list.
She can then Security wipe phone AFTER she has disassociate device.

You can also solve this problem by making her buy the phone
