I have a Z30 and I'm extremely happy with it. But I have to say that I had the opportunity to use a Passport yesterday for a few minutes and it was an amazing experience. The QWERTY keyboard works wonderfully, it's fast and responsive, and oh my goodness that screen resolution is awesome... If I had the chance I would upgrade to the Passport in an instant.

Either are great. I have a passport now, and upgraded from Z30.
The passport is RIDICULOUSLY fast, like everything is so quick it's crazy
The Z30 is absolutely amazing too, but the passport just has amazing hardware, and the screen is fantastic.

I'd say, if you're coming from a touch screen you will need about one month to adjust to the physical keyboard. After that it's smooth sailing.

For the record I loved the z30. For the price (250 right now in crackberry store), I wouldn't even think twice.

For texting and browsing it's definitely passport...
It works flawlessly but you need to use it before purchasing. Some people like the size of it while others don't.

I loved my Z30, but for text, BBM, internet browsing, the Passport is King (IMO). The Passport is more than just a phone. It's a phablet. I don't feel a need to use a tablet ever with my Passport. The Passport is fun! I love the experience on the Passport. Not great for movies though, if you are into that kind of thing with your phone. For movies it's just ok, not great. The Z30 would be (is) better for movies.

I am in the same boat as the OP. I cannot decide between the Passport of Z30. Currently I have the Q10.. loved it but am having keyboard issues so am looking to upgrade as my contract is up anyway. I held off upgrades because was so content with the Q10. I don't think i want the classic as i am happy without the toolbelt and trackpad... The only concern i have with the Passport is the size.. Is it too big?? in terms of comfort when carrying it, in pockets etc. Seems to large to run/train with and listen to music etc. thoughts?
