Sold my working Passport and new owner says he cannot get it to read a sim. How can we get the sim to work? It worked for me on on Tmobile and ATT. I security wiped it and autoloaded the system. Seemed to read the sim fine before I sent it to him.

Hard Reset
Device Wipe

All things to try. Also, might want to ask if he's using a SIM adapter. If he says yes, good chance he broke the pins and just isn't saying so or doesn't know. Other than that, not much else you can do really as you don't have the device to verify if it's broke or anything. On him if he wants to try a different SIM.

Do you know of a reliable autoloader I can download for the passport? Are the radio files separate? I wonder if it matters if there was a sim inserted when I ran the autoloader originally.
