Does the Passport use a similar sim card to the Z10 so if I buy a BlackBerry Passport from BlackBerry or Amazon I can just switch sim cards and have it run on AT&T?

No. The Passport uses a smaller SIM card--a nano SIM. The Z10 uses a micro SIM card, which is larger. If you are permanently switching, go to an AT&T store and ask them for a nano SIM card (I believe they are free for postpaid customers.) If you plan to keep switching between your Passport and your Z10, you might be able to seat a nano SIM in the Z10's SIM slot without an adapter. At least I hope so. Adapters can complicate things a bit.
