    I have a Huawei E5577 (E-series) router and it's able to switch between 2.5ghz or 5ghz Wifi band. The passport I have it is only working with the 2.5ghz band and when tried both dual-band or only 5ghz in settings the wifi network was never appeared on the wifi list or connected to it.

    I also have the latest update for the phone and router..
